Off-Road Upgrade #2: Winches and Hitches

A winch is a tremendous off-roading upgrade you need for your vehicle. This is the upgrade that will save you when you get stuck. Before adding the aesthetically pleasing upgrades to your vehicle, you should get a winch first. A winch will not only get you out of a tough spot, but it will help if your car has bad tires or you make a wrong driving decision.

The winch you choose will depend on your vehicle and the winch's purpose. Our 8-S winch can pull 8,000 pounds versus the 10-S winch can pull 10,000 pounds. Off-Road Upgrade #3: Undercarriage Protection

Protect your rockers and the underside of the car with some protection! Even if you have your vehicle lifted, it doesn’t mean the undercarriage is safe from damage. Pointy rocks, branches, and other items commonly found on the trail can still cause damage. While you should expect the unexpected when you go off-roading, you should still be able to see what’s in front of you. And sometimes, the standard light from headlights doesn’t cut it. If you enjoy off-roading early in the morning or late at night, you’re going to need lights on your truck, Jeep, or UTV. Off-Road Upgrade #6: Lift Kit

We mentioned lifted vehicles earlier in upgrade #3, but in addition to the previously mentioned upgrades, your vehicle should be lifted. It helps protect the vehicle from the trail and rocks underneath the car. A lift kit can also come with a leveling kit. The leveling kit will help the vehicle's suspension and help it in the long run with durability. It’s a good addition to add to your truck, SUV, or Jeep since most cars aren’t always equipped to handle the intensity that comes from off-roading.
